Causes of Sacroiliac Joint (SIJ) dysfunction?
Statistics show that approximately 20% of lower back pain is caused by the SIJ. Onset usually occurs from a trauma to the pelvis such as a fall, childbirth, an accident or multiple micro traumas. This can cause malalignment and dysfunction of the joint or instability within the joint. The evidence-based assessment that all our staff are trained in will allow us to determine what is causing your pain.
