Phoebe graduated from Bond university in 2017 with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and a Doctor of Physiotherapy. Whilst studying she gained broad exposure through her work with junior AFL and hockey teams. She has now completed post graduate study in Women’s Health and has completed her advanced reformer pilates training.
Phoebe has worked in various roles across Queensland and Melbourne, both within hospital and private practice settings. She has a solid foundation and deep understanding of rehabilitation and is passionate about all things spine and pelvis. She loves to educate her patients on body awareness, correct technique and how to properly rehabilitate musculature to preserve and improve function.
Phoebe employs a variety of treatment and rehabilitation approaches, including manual therapy, clinical Pilates, strength training, load management as well as sport specific techniques relating to an individual’s level and goals. Phoebe not only enjoys treating sport related injuries but also has a keen interest in pelvic related pain and neurologic presentations like Parkinson’s disease, MS, falls and balance difficulties.
Phoebe is someone who loves to be active, sport has always been a huge part of her life, she knows first- hand how injuries can impact daily life and goals. Phoebe aims to support her patients in their physical and mental wellbeing by enhancing their education on rehabilitation, prevention strategies and empowers them to become autonomous in recovery and ongoing good health. Away from the clinic you will find Phoebe completing her Ultimate Pilates Certificate, picking up a new sport or hobby, surrounding herself in the great outdoors (especially the beach) and spending time with her dog.
